A young man identified as Lucas Dumavor has been arrested by the Ghana police service in the Agbozume village near Ave-Afiadenyigba in the Akatsi north district in the Volta region of Ghana.
Taking the law into his own hands initiating a shooting on a group of fulani’s who he claimed were always cutting fan palm on his land. It is believed that, this fulanis uses the fan palm to roof their buildings.
From our source, the culprit Mr Dumavor upon seeing this fulanis collecting the fan palm asked them to stop which they did.
He then ordered them to drop all the fan palm that they have cut which they refused to adhere to resulting in his next actions to bring out a locally manufactured pistol to shoot one of them .
Witnesses who saw this tragedy made it known to the loversGh News that Mr Dumavor Lucas have had several encounters with the fulanis some few months ago.
He is currently remanded in the police custody for further investigations.
